Accreditations and awards
AIM accredited venues
CCT Venues are AIM accredited. AIM is the quality mark of the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), which guarantees that our venues comply with all essential legal requirements and meet high standards of quality and service.
Environmentally responsible venues
CCT Venues is officially one of the most environmentally responsible businesses in London, according to the Clean City Awards organised by the City of London Corporation. One of just 10 top-performing sites in its category, CCT Venues has secured the prestigious Chairman’s Cup Award in 2016, and the Platinum Award every year since 2010, having previously received a Gold Award, showing a consistently improving track record.
Being ‘green’ is something that CCT Venues actively advocate, ensuring that we are optimising recycling, reuse and reducing waste and litter year on year and constantly look for new ways to improve.
Awards are based on site visits by inspectors and documentary evidence submitted by entrants. In addition, the in depth Platinum Award application probes issues such as staff communications and the reduction of smoking-related litter.
CCT Venues have got even greener with achieving gold status for CCT Venues Plus-Bank Street, Canary Wharf for the IACC 2015 Code of Sustainability. The International Association of Conference Centres has a rigorous Code of Sustainability which includes 60 tenets in the following areas:
- Education, Awareness and Public Declaration
- Waste Management
- Water Conservation
- Energy Management
- Air Quality
- Food & Beverage
