This role is an integral function of venue operations, through the first class delivery of catering services whilst contributing to the commercial success of the business working within the F&B budget frameworks.
The post-holder reporting to the F&B Manager has responsibility for overseeing food service delivery across all of the City Venues, (Smithfield, Barbican & Farringdon). The post holder will work closely with the F&B manager and General Manager to ensure that all customer requirements are met and that a first class refreshment service is provided. The post holder will ensure that high standards are maintained over all City Venues. An important aspect of the role is to continually review the City Venues catering provisions and make recommendations for change to continually enhance quality and make sure that the catering provision is working in the most cost effective way possible.
The post-holder may from time to time be required to undertake similar activities at other CCT Venues locations.
Remuneration and benefits:
- Salary £18,720 per annum (£9 per hour)
- Upon completion of probationary period, participation in the employee assistance scheme (BHSF)
- 22 days annual leave, (rising annually by 1 day to a maximum of 25 days), usually at least five days to be taken in August. A discretionary extra 3 days for Christmas closure is usually awarded annually company wide, plus Bank Holidays
CCT Venues are normally open Monday-Friday 7.00am - 7.30pm. You will be expected to work a 45 hour week including an hour of breaks per day. Typical working hours are early shifts starting between 7am and 8am and finishing 9 hours later, or later shifts starting between 9:00am and 10am and finishing 9 hours later, although flexibility will be required to meet client requirements. You may be required to work at other CCT Venues locations as required.
