Today for the first time at CCT Venues, we ran a pancake competition for all of our chefs
We have had some fantastic results and some great ideas which show the creative & innovative thinking of our team which we would like to share with you today.
Warren Darkes Head chef of CCT Venues - Barbican prepared:
Gluten free peanut butter and banana pancakes, glazed bananas and blue berry syrup
Shane Fowler Head Chef of CCT Venues - South Quay, Canary Wharf prepared:
Pancakes stuffed with sweet potato and orange and topped with blue berry compote and cream.
Piotr Tofan KP at CCT Venues - South Quay, Canary Wharf Prepared 2 varieties:
- Smoked and cream cheese
- Curd cheese and sultana stuffed pancakes with caramelised apples
Mark Mellor Sous chef at CCT Venues - Bank street, Canary Wharf, prepared:
Red velvet Pancakes with Chocolate buttercream and brownies
Gildevan Fernandes Sous Chef at CCT Venues - South Quay, Canary Wharf prepared:
American style pancakes with honey, Greek yoghurt and red berries
Nafish Ansari F&B Manager CCT Venues City, prepared:
Indian style fusion pancakes with homemade molasses ricotta, coconut and chocolate gelato
Richard Locke Sous Chef at CCT Venues - Barbican, prepared:
Chilli and smoked bacon Pancakes, chilli Maple syrup, glazed fig and Crispy Bacon
And the winner was...

Beetroot pancakes, filled with Walnuts sultanas and Cream
