Yesterday, London took part in donating to the Royal British Legion in support of the London Poppy Day
That’s not all; the day featured a Remembrance Trail (displaying some amazing pieces of art highlighting the work of the legion and other military charities) and top military bands performing alongside celebrity guests in the cities central stations.
But the most spectacular view of the day was the Royal Marines at Bank Street. Every half an hour, a team of Royal Marines abseiled down the side of 40 Bank Street and right past our restaurant on level 32! Some delegates were even lucky enough to grab a picture (see below) of some of the marines as they pasted the venue.
It was a real thrill during the busy work day! Don’t forget to stop by Bank Street to donate to the Royal British Legion and help support the Poppy Appeal.
